Needless to say, it’s a SELLER’S MARKET right now in Metro-Atlanta!⁠⁠ Here is the Atlanta REALTORS® Market Brief, June 2021 Edition:

The June 2021 Market Brief, compiled by First Multiple Listing Service (FMLS), provides a regionally focused synopsis of monthly sales and home prices for residential properties in Metro Atlanta.

This summary covers 11 counties: Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Paulding and Rockdale.

Demand: June residential sales were at 7,637, an increase of 2.0% from the previous year.

Price: Average and median sales prices continue to outpace 2020’s figures, with positive gains. The median sales price in June was $372,500, an increase of 26.3% from last June. The average sales price was $452,500, up 28.2% from the previous year.

Supply: Atlanta area housing inventory totaled 8,739 units in June, a decrease of 40.1% from June 2020. New listings totaled 9,636, up 2.7% from June 2020 and up 12.9% from the previous month. The month’s supply over a 12-month period increased to 1.3 months.
